Enrollment: Enrollment is by pre-registration. Students will be accepted on a space available basis. Class size is limited. To register, click here and follow the prompts to complete online registration. Once registration is completed, tuition will be posted to your account for online payment, or cash or check may be brought in on the first day of class. All class placements must have director approval.​​

 

Makeups: If a student must miss a class due to illness, a makeup class is always available. There are no tuition deductions given for missed classes. Makeup classes should be taken at the same level or one lower class level. Please call the office to arrange makeup classes.​ 

 

Class Observation: It is our belief that students work more productively when not being observed. To prevent classroom disruptions, maintain children's focus, and protect the privacy of all students, we maintain a closed classroom (and lobby) policy. Parents of preschool and young dancers will be periodically invited to observe at the end of class.

 

Snow Days: The Academy of Dance Arts will make announcements by email and social media if the studio is closed due to inclement weather. Be sure the office has your current email address on file. Should classes be cancelled due to weather, two weeks notice will be given for a makeup class.​

 

Performances: An annual student production is held in May or June. Recital participation is optional but encouraged as performing is part of a dance education. By purchasing a recital costume you are agreeing to adhere to studio recital policies. Recital Dress Rehearsal is MANDATORY for all performers.

Recital Experience Bundle: This bundle will include a costume for each class, tights (as needed), one recital t-shirt, two souvenir programs, and a flash drive of the Spring Recital performance. Deposits will be posted to your parent portal account in September and should be paid by October 15th. Balances will be posted in November and should be paid by December 15th.

Pictures: Throughout the year, our staff takes photos for use on our website, social media pages, and recital souvenir yearbooks. If you do not wish for your child's photo to be used, please email us at danceonadalc@gmail.com.

 

Ensemble: Students age 9 and older may audition for the Dance Arts Ensemble. The Ensemble presents at least one concert each year, as well as represents the Academy at various local and charity events. Auditions are held in annual in August or September.
